conquer your fears

often times when i am working on a new piece, it will go in a different direction that i thought.  it may become a visual representation of what i was feeling at the time of creation.  so is the case with this large acrylic on wood painting.

i was nervous to have my very first solo show less than 2 months away … and created this woman from one of my instagram friends as a way to tell myself “get over the fears and just create!”
